What traction numbers matter most before approaching VCs in Pakistan?

We have users but weak revenue. What metrics make a VC meeting useful vs a waste of time?

VCs care about repeatable growth signals, not vanity downloads.

Stronger signals: paying customers, retention/cohort curves, sales cycle length, gross margin, and a clear channel that can scale. Weak signals: waitlists with no conversion, PR spikes, or founder-only sales that cannot be hired for.

If you only have usage, position as pre-seed and own the gap instead of pretending Series A readiness.
