Hire full-time when the work is core, recurring, and quality-sensitive.

Stay with freelancers when
- Demand is spiky
- Skills are specialized and occasional
- You are still testing the offer

Hire when
- The same bottleneck appears every week
- Knowledge needs to stay inside the company
- Customer experience suffers without dedicated ownership

Write a one-page scorecard (outcomes, not tasks) before posting. A bad first hire is more expensive than staying lean for another quarter.
