Validate your idea by talking to real customers, testing a small version, and checking if people will actually pay.
Most startups fail because they build something people do not want. Validation means testing your idea cheaply before you spend big. Here is how to do it in the Pakistani market.
Talk to real potential customers
Speak to at least ten people who might buy your product. Ask about their problem, not your idea. Their honest answers tell you if the problem is real and worth solving.
Check if people will pay
Interest is not the same as sales. Ask if they would pay, how much, and try to get a small pre-order or deposit. Real money is the strongest proof.
Build the smallest version first
- A simple landing page or WhatsApp catalogue
- A small batch of product to sell
- A manual version of the service before you automate
Study the competition
If others are already doing it, that can be good — it proves demand. Look for a gap you can fill better or cheaper.
Decide with evidence
If people pay and come back, you have something. If not, change the idea before spending more. A startup consultant can guide your validation and next steps.
